While the wider public will have become aware of the St. Agnes' Violin Project through the television series 'Music Changes Lives' in January 2010, the project was already making in it's mark in the media from some time before this. The TV series
'Music Changes Lives' was shown in January 2010 on RTE 1 television.
The series, commissioned by RTE from 'Mind the Gap' films showed the musical life of the school, as well as St.
Ultan's school, Cherry Orchard. The series was a huge hit with the

On 5th Jan 2010, the RTE radio programme 'Arena'
featured an interview with Seamus Doyle and Eimear O'Grady in advance
of the first episode of 'Music Changes Lives'. In the interview Seán
Rocks discusses theworkings of the Violin project within the school,
and the musical journey of the children from junior infants to sixth

Sr Bernadette Sweeney and Joanna Crooks were interviewed on Morning Ireland radio programme, RTÉ radio one, Tuesday 2nd February 2010. Cathal Mc Coille, interviewing was very enthusiastic about the violin project, while Joanna and Sr. Bernadette spoke of its positive effects and possibilities.
